Boise Lawn Care Maintenance
Here at Living Waters Landscape & Sprinkler we are taking a new approach to an age-old industry. Our skilled technicians are equal parts scientist and gardener, and they have years of experience tending lawns across the Treasure Valley. They are familiar with the local grasses, pests, and other seasonal challenges, and are also fully licensed & insured, so you can be confident that your lawn is in the best of hands.
It's not enough to just throw down some good grass seed and fertilizer. Once you've established a healthy and attractive lawn, you have to give it proper care and attention. Otherwise it could wither away, become overgrown, or get infested and consumed by pest. In order to keep your lawn looking clean and green, it's important to establish and keep a lawn maintenance schedule.
Feed Your Lawn
Your grass craves periodic feedings, and it is best to meet this need for periodic feedings by fertilizing lawns with "slow-release" products. Living Water Landscape & Sprinkler uses these products to help create healthier lawns. As nutrients are released, the root system fills in any bare patches, depriving weed seeds of a place to germinate. Contact us to find out more information and pricing.
Protect Your Investment
Pre-Emergent
Pre-emergent herbicides are designed for application before the targeted weed germinates, and are an effective preventative method for controlling weeds. Pre-emergents establish a chemical barrier that will not kill established plants, but will prevent weeds from successfully growing. The protective barrier breaks down in six to eight weeks. Use of a pre-emergent, therefore, requires proper timing to be effective – contact us to find out to schedule an appointment.
Post-Emergent
Post-emergent herbicides are designed to attack weeds that are already established and growing. We apply post-emergents later in the growing season, after weeds are established but before they have gone to seed.
Aerate and Protect
Give your lawn a breather... literally!
I'm here to tell you it's time to give your lawn a breather. Your lawn needs a breath of fresh air. Are you tired of spending time and money on your lawn with no results? You've done the basics of watering, mowing, fertilizing and still it's not enough! For a greener, thicker, healthier lawn you need to do what the Pros do! You need to aerate! Insects, diseases, improper watering and lack of fertilizer are often blamed for a lawn's decline when the real culprit is soil compaction. Lawn aeration is the only method to alleviate soil compaction, thus giving root systems the adequate amount of air, water, and fertilizer to create a healthy green lawn.
